Hi
Thank you for your response on building a house in 2000.
I am very new to Feng Shui and full of questions. (I don't suppose that will change).
Currently we live in a rented home (and have done so for several years) and plan to commence building our own home in approx 6 months.
It would seem that our current home is inauspicious for all of us.
I am the "breadwinner" and an East House person. However the main entrance of this house faces the west (death) - the main bedroom is in the irritation sector, the longevity and prosperity sectors are missing and the lounge is in the disaster.
My husband is a South-East person and the house seems to be as bad for him.
My teenage son is a West House person. While the entrance is in the West and thus excellent - all of the bedrooms in the house fall in bad positions for him - his own bedroom straddles death and irritation.
Now given that we are building our home soon and cannot make any structural changes to this rented house. And equally importantly, given the fact that my husband is not concerned with Feng Shui and thinks I'm becoming a crank - what can I do?
My main concerns are with my son who, while a good boy, is not working well at school and is becoming quite slovenly (perhaps just a typical boy!).
His bedroom door is on a diagonal, cutting off the the north west corner of his bedroom. His bed is located with the end facing the door - I wanted to move it the other day, but my husband just laughed at me. And his room is very cluttered.
Also, I am concerned that living in an inauspicious house now may affect our "prosperity" and luck, ie may hold us back in our attempts to save up for our new home.
I currently have two jobs - one a full time office job and another where I sell from home - thus this small house becomes very cluttered with large boxes, deliveries, samples etc.
Any advice would be welcome. Thank you in advance.
